With the development of South Bristol already gathering momentum here are some of the key players already involved with The Joshua Trust. We are always interested in working with other organisations with a heart for South Bristol, and would be delighted in hearing what you can offer as we continue to make South Bristol the place to be.
ASPIRE
Aspire Bristol is part of the UK wide network of Aspire support services. Aspire Bristol run several arms of social enterprise, all of which employ homeless and formerly homeless people in work placements and in full time paid employment.
ATKINS
Atkins is one of the world’s leading engineering and design consultancies, with the depth and breadth of technical expertise to respond to the complex challenges of the world’s major infrastructure projects and carbon critical design. Whether it’s the concept for a new skyscraper, the upgrade of a rail network, the modelling of a flood defence system or the improvement of a management process, we plan, design and enable solutions.
CARMEL
carmel:centre in South Bristol off the main A4 Bath Road in a modern building previously owned by a computer firm and customised to meet the church’s needs with a main auditorium that seats 500. The position of the church is intentionally on the south side of the city in order to help and impact the poorest people.
Despite its rapidly increasing numbers, carmel: maintains a family atmosphere. Among its congregation are people from many different backgrounds, ages and nations coming together to worship God and learn the culture of His Kingdom. The services are vibrant, the teaching uncompromising and the Word within the messages life changing.
carmel: sees itself as an equipping church, called to enable people to fulfil their God given potential and operate in their God given gifts in reaching out beyond the church walls to the community.

CRE8ION
cre8ion is the design and marketing arm of carmel: ministries international (cmi:). It helps generate finances for cmi: who financially support those working in the local community so that they in turn can continue meeting the needs of those they serve. Though cre8ion fully appreciates the work done by major charities to affect the world at large, its aim is to tackle the needs of the local community first. Because cre8ion is a part of a charity , it is not a profit making organisation. cre8ion is a media agency with a difference. It ensures that your advertising and marketing spend is pumped back into the community.
